Shopfronts Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document public consultation
The Shopfronts Design Guide Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) provides design guidance for shopfronts in Rugby, especially in the town centre, in order to contribute to higher quality development.
The purpose of the SPD is to establish design principles for both historical and contemporary shopfronts, to ensure that they contribute to, rather than detract from, the character of Rugby.
The intended use for the SPD is guidance for applicants while developing proposals and for development management officers when making planning decisions.
The public consultation on the SPD runs from Tuesday 7 May 2024 until 5pm on Tuesday 18 June 2024.
