Publication of the CIL examiner's report
The report of the independent examiner on Rugby Borough Council's draft CIL charging schedule was received by the council on Thursday 4 January 2024.

Submission for examination
Rugby Borough Council submitted its draft Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) charging schedule for independent examination on 23 October 2023.
The CIL examiner
Keith Holland BA (Hons) DipTP MRTPI ARICS has been appointed as the independent examiner.
Examination hearing
The examination will be proceeding by written representations.
Update (30 November 2023): Document (reference 'EXAM 1') has been added to the examination library.
The document comprises correspondence between the examiner and the council in relation to viability evidence for apartments in rural areas.
As this correspondence comprises new material, any comments or representations should be sent to localplan@rugby.gov.uk by 5pm on Friday 15 December.
