Supporting Rugby’s communities together
At Rugby Borough Council, we know that strong communities make a strong borough. That’s why we invest in our voluntary and community sector – funding essential services, supporting neighbourhood projects and helping local organisations to grow.
Our support for the VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise) sector helps deliver the Council’s vision of a Greener, Fairer, Healthier and Thriving Rugby:
- Greener – community groups help residents connect with nature, run local growing projects and make sustainable choices.
- Fairer – advice and support services ensure that no one is left behind, tackling poverty, inequality and hardship.
- Healthier – VCS partners provide activities and support that improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and promote active lifestyles.
- Thriving – investment in community organisations builds local capacity, strengthens volunteering and creates opportunities for people to shape their area.
