The process involves the applicant notifying the licence holder and authorities, who then advertise the review, inviting representations during a prescribed period, leading to a licensing authority decision.
In carrying out the role of responsible authority, Warwickshire Police is permitted to make relevant representations and objections to the grant of a licence or request a review of an existing licence as a responsible authority where there is concern that a licence and related licensable activity is prejudicial to the upholding of the Licensing Objectives..
Any responsible authority or any other person who wishes to make representations regarding this application must give notice in writing to Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby CV21 2RR by 18 February 2026.
(Emailed responses will also be accepted: licensing@rugby.gov.uk)
The Council’s licensing register and the grounds for the review may be viewed at the Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby CV21 2RR, between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
