We want to make sure we provide services you value and which meet your needs.
We know we need to listen to your views and learn from what you tell us - and the Tenant Panel gives you the opportunity to give us feedback directly on a regular basis.
Members of the panel can play a part in the discussions which influence the decisions we make before introducing new strategies and policies which affect our tenants.
Panel members also have the opportunity to help us shape our future housing services.
The panel also monitors our performance on delivering agreed objectives, holding us to account and making recommendations which we share with senior management.
Meetings of the panel take place approximately every three months and usually last an hour-and-a-half.
Our Readers' Panel reviews all of our communications with tenants - whether emails, letters or documents - to help us ensure we communicate with you in customer-friendly, easy to understand, plain English.
Members of the panel give us feedback on our communications by answering a short list of questions - a role you can take on from the comfort of your own home, providing feedback via email or by post.
We always give members of the panel plenty of time to provide feedback, so the role suits tenants who want to get involved with our tenant involvement programme but have little time to sprare.
Tenants can become one of our cleaning inspectors to ensure we deliver the quality of cleaning services we have committed to providing.
The monthly inspections take around an hour to complete and we provide a checklist for inspectors to help review the cleaning service being provided in communal areas of our buildings near your home.
Where necessary, we provide training and, where possible, cover any reasonable expenses incurred by inspectors.
To apply to become a cleaning inspector, or find out more information, email RBC.tenants@rugby.gov.uk
Pre-letting inspectors
Our team of pre-letting inspectors review our void properties to provide us with feedback on the standard of properties we let and ensure we meet the 'lettable standard' we have committed to deliver.
We provide a checklist for inspectors to help conduct property reviews, with inspections taking place once a month and taking around one hour to complete.
We provide our pre-letting inspectors with full training and, where possible, cover reasonable expenses incurrred.

Information exchange Facebook group
The Rugby Borough Council Tenant Information Exchange group on Facebook provides a platform for tenants to talk to each other and give us feedback on the issues which matter to you.
Joining the Facebook group also keeps you up-to-date with all the latest news from the council and gives our tenants a direct line of communication to our housing team.
Estate inspections give our tenants the chance to raise concerns directly with council officers during a tour of a neighbourhood or one of our independent living housing schemes.
The inspections form part of our commitment to improving the quality of neighbourhoods where our tenants live, with one of our tenancy support officers and a member of our housing maintenance team on hand to discuss specific issues about where you live or more general concerns about the neighbourhood.
Tenants who join an inspection can also complete a feedback sheet either during or following the tour, returning it to us via a pre-paid envelope.
You do not have to take part in the full inspection and we issue advance notice of the route so you can choose to join us at a specific point. You can also let us know in advance of any support needs you have.
Where possible, we cover reasonable expenses incurred by tenants taking part in an inspection.
