Warwickshire and Solihull Community and Voluntary Action (WCAVA) has joined forces with the Little Elborow Street venue to host the display, which includes information on the variety of organisations which offer volunteering opportunities, together with how WCAVA can support voluntary organisations to grow.

Organisations featured in the display include Myton Hospice, Warwickshire Vision, Rugby Eco Hub, Garden Organic and Overslade Community Centre - with information leaflets available for visitors to take home.

Amy Muzyka, Warwickshire and Solihull CAVA's volunteering co-ordinator for Rugby, said volunteering brought benefits beyond making a difference to people's lives - including improved self-confidence, meeting new people and learning new skills.

"No matter who you are, how much time you have or what your reasons for volunteering are, there's a volunteering role that's right for you," Amy added.

"You can choose to volunteer on a regular or short-term basis and even do voluntary work at home. Just visit the CAVA website and click the 'volunteering' tab to register."

The WCAVA display runs at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum's community space - located in the venue's foyer - until Tuesday 7 April.

Phoebe Hilton, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum's senior learning and engagement officer, said: "Our team of volunteers at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum make such a massive difference, so we know only too well the benefits volunteering can bring.

"With so many varied volunteering opportunities on offer in the borough, you can find a role which fits around you and gives you the chance to support the community you live in."
