At revaluation, the Valuation Office Agency adjusts the rateable value of business properties to reflect changes in the property market.
The agency has now started to contact businesses to request rent, lease and ownership details of business premises.
This information allows the agency to set the rateable values used by local authorities to calculate your business rates - helping to ensure your rates accurately reflect your business premises.
When you receive your Revaluation 2023 letter from the agency, you need to go online and update your information.
