The Procurement Act 2023 mandates contracting authorities must pay suppliers' invoices within 30 days.

Effective from 1 October 2025, the act requires a contracting authority to publish a Payment Compliance Notice within 30 days of the end of the 'reporting period'.

Authorities must publish a Payment Compliant Notice every six months.
