Gambling Policy statement of principles

We are seeking representations on our proposed Gambling Policy Statement of Principles. The Statement of Principles was considered by the Licensing and Safety Committee on 16 July 2024 and a copy can be viewed as part of the meeting papers.

The consultation opened on 17 July 2024 and will close on 11 October 2024.

Cemetery and crematorium regulations

We are consulting on proposed updates to our cemetery and crematorium regulations.

The Council already has regulations for its cemeteries and crematorium, but a 3000 plot cemetery extension is currently being built at Rainsbrook Cemetery and Crematorium, and it is appropriate to review the current regulations and also introduce regulation of stonemasons and funeral directors for quality and safety.
