You must have a licence from us if you want to run a gambling premises in the borough of Rugby.

The three types of licence

The three types of licence are:

  • Operator licence - concerned with the management and conduct of gambling.
  • Personal licence - for persons with key operational functions connected with the gambling business.
  • Premises licence - for the property where the gambling takes place.

Operators and personal licences are issued and regulated by the Gambling Commission. We issue premises licenses in the borough of Rugby for gambling facilities on:
